I love color!  With a passion for painting I seek to capture the heartbeat of America.  A split second glimpse of a splash of color and light catches my breathe and I can't rest until I have put it on canvas.

 

My oil paintings represent everyday scenes I encounter as I explore the backroads of Vermont and New England.  My mind's eye has so much to share-from the swaying of poppies in the breeze or our flag snapping in a brisk wind, to the fragrance of beach roses and salty ocean air.

 

My oil paintings are my way of translating this into an experience someone else can relate to.
